Last week we were invited up to Google’s London HQ, to attend a Google Partners event.
Raja Saggi, the head of marketing for Google UK, said that online advertising revenues are the leading type of advertising spend, a huge £1.6bn per year more than the next biggest form – TV advertising. This is a gap which is only getting bigger, so things are looking very positive for the industry.
The UK has been an early adopter of online advertising compared to other countries due to the good old BBC being the main TV network, with no commercial advertising. Because of this, advertisers have had to become early adopters of digital advertising compared to similar countries.
After hearing from a few other Partner Agencies, we met with our dedicated account manager, Chris, who is on board to help us to achieve the best results for our customers Google Adwords campaigns.
